Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: October 24, 2017 <br />Item Description: 2018 Utility Rate Proposal <br />Background: <br />Item No: 5 <br />Chris Miller, Finance Director has completed preliminary analysis for the proposed utility rates <br />for 2018. The utility rate proposal will be presented to the City Council in November for <br />consideration and approval. As the utility areas are enterprise funds they are restricted to funding <br />the purposes of the respective utility. Utility rates are set at a level to sustain the operations and <br />capital needs of the individual utility. The Finance Director has provided a memo outlining the <br />proposed 2018 rates with background and analysis supporting the proposed rates. <br />Recommended Action: <br />Discuss proposed rates and rate structure.
