they can. He suggested the column on the left be identified as a map identifier and
that they keep cost out because it is not relevant.

Mr. Culver stated they will check the map identifiers because there may have been
some unintentional shifting.

Chair Cihacek agreed they should keep both Snelling Avenue and Rosedale to
HarMar Connection on the list for convenience.

Member Heimerl commented they currently have bus lines run every 10 minutes
from County Road B to Rosedale in order to keep people from crossing Highway
36 on Snelling Avenue. He inquired if they could publicize free rides as a means
of stopping people from walking on Snelling.

Mr. Culver stated it has been previously discussed, but Metro Transit was
concerned on how to police it. They could discuss it again with them.

Member Heimerl stated Metro Transit should be more flexible since the City has
subsidized them severely.

Member Seigler suggested they use signs to direct people to Fairview Avenue to
access Rosedale because it has sidewalks the entire way.

Chair Cihacek commented Metro Transit is subsidized by the seven counties, not
just Roseville. They should ask Metro Transit what it would take to get a district
set up in this area. An alternative would be to offer a shuttle which would offer a
much clearer cost mechanism as a separate fixed route.

Member Misra inquired how long ago the Roseville Circulator was cut.

Chair Cihacek stated its been at least seven years. Metro Transit may not know
there is an actual demand for service between HarMar and Rosedale when there
actually is, and this should be part of the discussion with them.

Mr. Culver stated they will finalize this document and present a final draft when
they present the final Transportation Plan draft for the Commission's approval.

7. Joint City Council Meeting Discussion
Mr. Culver provided a list of topics discussed during the Joint City Council
meeting. He suggested they set a guideline for future meetings on what topics they
want to talk about before they meeting again with the City Council in July. The
topics that received more attention from the City Council was an update on the Seal
Coat Program, solar, water conservation, landscaping, and tree canopy/tree
diversity.

Mr. Culver stated he is not concerned with lead pipes and exposure.
