Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. Assistant City Manager Rebecca <br /> Olson and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. Mayor Roe advised that City <br /> Manager Trudgeon was delayed in off-site mediation discussions. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations and Communications <br /> a. Introduction of Battalion Chief Sergio Nardi <br /> Assistant Fire Chief David Brosnahan introduced new Battalion Chief Sergio <br /> Nardi, filling the role vacated by former Battalion Chief Greg Peterson upon his <br /> transition to become Chief of the White Bear Lake Fire Department. <br /> Chief Nardi thanked the City Council for this opportunity to serve Roseville; ex- <br /> pressing his pride and humility in being part of this organization and wonderful <br /> city. Chief Nardi provided a brief summation of his personal and EMS/Fire De- <br /> partment background; comparing the values of the city and department with his <br /> personal philosophy. <br /> Assistant Fire Chief David Brosnahan advised that Chief Nardi had initially been <br /> interviewed for a firefighter position while still out-of-state; and during the inter- <br /> view process it was requested that Human Resources Director Bacon suggest the <br /> interview for the position of Battalion Chief, which he was subsequently offered. <br /> On behalf of the community and City Council, Mayor Roe welcomed Chief Nardi <br /> to the city. <br /> 7.
