Roll Call Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. Assistant City Manager Rebecca Olson and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. Mayor Roe advised that City Manager Trudgeon was delayed in off-site mediation discussions. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Approve Agenda McGehee moved, Etten seconded, approval of the agenda as presented. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe Nays: None. 4. Public Comment 5. Recognitions, Donations and Communications a. Introduction of Battalion Chief Sergio Nardi Assistant Fire Chief David Brosnahan introduced new Battalion Chief Sergio Nardi, filling the role vacated by former Battalion Chief Greg Peterson upon his transition to become Chief of the White Bear Lake Fire Department. Chief Nardi thanked the City Council for this opportunity to serve Roseville; ex- pressing his pride and humility in being part of this organization and wonderful city. Chief Nardi provided a brief summation of his personal and EMS/Fire De- partment background; comparing the values of the city and department with his personal philosophy. Assistant Fire Chief David Brosnahan advised that Chief Nardi had initially been interviewed for a firefighter position while still out-of-state; and during the inter- view process it was requested that Human Resources Director Bacon suggest the interview for the position of Battalion Chief, which he was subsequently offered. On behalf of the community and City Council, Mayor Roe welcomed Chief Nardi to the city. 7. Items Removed from Consent Agenda 7. Business Items
