Five years of surveys and committee
ineetings has resulted in unique regulations for water surfaces in our city. Many of the
regulations pertain ta safety and are intended to help the Ramsey County Sheriff's
Department enforce safe boating practice on the Lakes within the City. The reduction of
the slow-wake zone from 300 feet ta 150 feet was done in an effort to allow more of the
lakes to be used by recreational boaers.
The City looks forward to implementing these new regulations with the DNR's approval.
If any additianal information is necessary, please feel to contact me at (612) 490-4652.
Sincerely,
.  C.U/  cc_ C ; : ;
David Ebeling
Associate Pianner
cc: Steve North, City of Raseville
File No. 1556-95-27
