EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 8h day of January, 2018, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe and the <br /> following members were absent: none. <br /> Council member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11483 <br /> APPROVING AGREEMENT NO. 02-134961 AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO CONTRACT <br /> FOR WATER SERVICES WITH THE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF ST PAUL <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, has purchased wholesale water from the Board <br /> of Water Commissioners of the City of St Paul for 54 years; and <br /> WHEREAS, in 2005 the City of Roseville entered into a 20 year contract with the Board of <br /> Water Commissioners for water services; and <br /> WHEREAS, St Paul Regional Water Services, operating under the Board of Water <br /> Commissioners, periodically studies the cost to provide water service to the City of Roseville <br /> in order to properly establish fair and appropriate rates; and <br /> WHEREAS, a recent Cost of Services Study recommended changes to the current contract as <br /> attached in Agreement No. 02-13496_1 Amendment No. 2. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and <br /> directed for and on behalf of the City to execute Agreement No. 02-13496_I Amendment No. <br /> 2 with the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of St Paul, a copy of which said <br /> agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by reference. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte and Roe and the following voted against the <br /> same: none. <br /> WHEAREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
