EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of January, 2018, at 6:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte <br /> and Mayor Roe and the following were absent: none. <br /> Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11482 <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED <br /> ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ROSEVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> AUTHORITY'S REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 1 AND THE ADOPTION <br /> OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN THEREFOR; AND THE PROPOSED <br /> ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-20: <br /> MCGOUGH REDEVELOPMENT THEREIN AND THE ADOPTION OF A TAX <br /> INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN THEREFOR. <br /> WHEREAS, 2785 Fairview, LLC (the "Redeveloper") has requested tax increment <br /> assistance from the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City") and the Roseville Economic <br /> Development Authority (the "EDA") to finance certain costs in connection with the <br /> redevelopment of 2785 Fairview Avenue, Roseville MN by the Redeveloper (the "Project"). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council(the "Council") of the City, as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. Public Hearina. This Council shall meet on February 26, 2018, at approximately 6:00 <br /> P.M., to hold a public hearing on (i) the proposed establishment by the EDA (pursuant to its housing and <br /> redevelopment powers) of its Redevelopment Project No. 1 (the "Project"), (ii) the adoption of a <br /> Redevelopment Plan for the Project (the "Redevelopment Plan"), (iii) the proposed establishment of Tax <br /> Increment Financing District No. 1-20: McGough Redevelopment (the "TIF District") within the Project, <br /> and (iv) the adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan (the "TIF Plan," and with the Redevelopment <br /> Plan, the "Plans") for the TIF District, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.090 to 469.1082 <br /> and Sections 469.174 to 469.1794, as amended, to encourage the development and redevelopment of <br /> certain designated areas within the City. <br /> Section 2. Notice of Public Hearing Filing of Plans. City and EDA staff is authorized and <br /> directed to work with Ehlers & Associates to prepare the Plans and to forward documents to the <br /> appropriate taxing jurisdictions including Ramsey County and Independent School District No. 623.
