Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, January 29, 2018 <br /> Page 27 <br /> Mayor Roe noted he attended a LMC training for experienced elected officials this past <br /> weekend. He noted the primary thing he took away was improving the City's crisis <br /> communication. <br /> 11. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings <br /> Councilmember Etten stated the City may have lower fees for its cigarettes and tobacco <br /> license charges as compared with neighbors, and he would like staff to research this and <br /> report back to the Council. <br /> Councilmember Willi-nus would like the Council to consider potentially changing the <br /> minimum age related to tobacco sales in the City, from 18 to 21. Perhaps the City can <br /> look at other communities who have preceded the City in that direction. <br /> 12.
