Wireless support structures shall <br />be located no closer than 10 feet from city hydrants, valves, manholes and other <br />utility fixture or appurtenance: shall be setback a minimum of 3 feet from back <br />of curb and sidewalks or trails: and shall not be located within roadwav clear <br />zone area. <br />Ground equipment associated with small wireless facility shall be located to the <br />backside of anv sidewalk or trail, shall be setback a minimum of 3 feet from <br />back of curb and sidewalk or trail, and shall not be located within the boulevard <br />sight distance triangle of intersecting streets unless the height satisfies the <br />limitations thereof. Ground equipment shall be separated from the nearest <br />telecommunications ground equipment on the same block by a minimum of 330 <br />feet, except if the ground equipment be collocated within the same area as other <br />wireless service provider and having a combined total size of less than 28 cubic <br />feet. <br />The small wireless facilitv shall not be connected to anv aboveground power <br />or communications cables, except where such facilities exist in the <br />surrounding environment prior to May 18, 2017. No small wireless faci litv or <br />wireless support structure or utility pole shall have affixed to it any signs, <br />banners, or placards {except one sign of ten square inches or less identifving <br />the monopole manufacturer or wireless service provider), nor shall anv lights. <br />reflectors, flashers or other illuminating device be affixed except as required <br />by FAA or FCC. <br />Where an applicant proposes collocation on a decorative wireless support <br />structure, sign or other structure not intended to support small wireless facilities, <br />the citv may impose reasonable requirements to accommodate the particular <br />design, appearance or intended purpose of such structure. <br />Small wireless facility permittee shall provide Citv advance notice of anv work <br />obstructing street, bicycle or pedestrian traffic, and shall perform all work in a <br />manner that is minimally disruptive to traffic. Small wireless facilitv permittee <br />shall comply with Minnesota Manual for Uniform Traffic Control at all times <br />during installation, maintenance, and removal of small wireless facility and/or <br />wireless support structure. <br />Wireless facilities shall be placed in appropriate portions of the right-of-wav so <br />as to minimize conflict with city infrastructure and other authorized facilities. <br />Separate application shall be made for buried cable for small wireless facilitv <br />backhaul communications. Buried cable for backhaul communications <br />purposes shall be joint trench or collocated in multi -duct conduit when <br />practicable. The citv shall retain exclusive use of citv conduit. <br />
