They can <br />412 <br />recommend these types of things be offered as an incentive. <br />413 <br />414 <br />Member Wozniak suggested they also consider the non-residential sector, which <br />415 <br />uses two and a half times as more energy. <br />416 <br />417 <br />Chair Cihacek commented it is not relevant to greenhouse gas emissions and can <br />418 <br />be addressed in another area <br />419 <br />420 <br />Member Wozniak referred to page 8, second bullet, and noted it suggests an 80 <br />421 <br />percent reduction from 2005 levels by 2050 and references a statute. <br />422 <br />423 <br />Mr. Culver noted they will confirm the baseline of either 2005 or 2018. <br />424 <br />425 <br />Chair Cihacek suggested they include "develop a metric that will be used to track <br />426 <br />progress." <br />427 <br />428 <br />Member Seigler stated they should have the City develop a method to track its own <br />429 <br />progress. <br />430 <br />431 <br />Chair Cihacek noted this is addressed under the first bullet on page 8.
