A <br />42 <br />clean copy of the ordinance, as well as an ordinance summary are also included in your packet. <br />43 <br />44 <br />Based upon the Resident Advisory Team Final Report and Recommendations and the final proposed <br />45 <br />operational plan and budget for the Cedarholm Community Building and Golf Course, staff <br />46 <br />recommends to eliminate the language referencing Cedarholm Golf Course and deck in Chapter 701.03 <br />47 <br />as outlined, andaddlanguageto Chapter 302.02 to include the “Cedarholm Community Building and <br />48 <br />Golf Course” as outlined. <br />49 <br />50 <br />Overall Operational Summary <br />51 <br />The proposed modifications(assuming the issuance of a wine and on-sale intoxicating liquor <br />52 <br />license)as outlined would allow for the daily serving of wine and malt liquor and the <br />53 <br />opportunity to serve intoxicating liquor by licensed servers at events scheduled at the Cedarholm <br />54 <br />Community Building and Golf Course. <br />55 <br />56 <br />Interest in rental reservations at the Cedarholm Community Building and Golf Course appear to be <br />57 <br />strong as we are regularly receiving requests. It is our goal to start taking reservations in early March, <br />58 <br />2018 for rentals beginning in July. In order to do this, the alcohol approach would need to be finalized. <br />59 <br />As suggested by the Resident Advisory Team and community process, the availability of alcohol is <br />60 <br />important. <br />61 <br />62 <br />Staff has workedwith the City Attorney and City Licensing Staff to arrive at the appropriate ordinance <br />63 <br />language to allow service of intoxicating liquor at Cedarholm Community Building and Golf Course as <br />64 <br />presented.
