EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING

<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
<br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 12th day of March, 2018, at
<br /> 6:00 p.m.
<br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Etten, McGehee, Laliberte; and Roe and the
<br /> following were absent: none.
<br /> Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION No. 11502
<br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
<br /> FOR 2018 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans
<br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were
<br /> received on Tuesday,March 6, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the
<br /> following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

<br /> Valley Paving Inc $3,268,044.77
<br /> Midwest Asphalt Services $3,273,199.50
<br /> North Valley Inc. $3,308,502.37
<br /> C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $3,471,970.40
<br /> Engineer's Estimate $3,071,106.00
<br /> WHEREAS, it appears that T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder at the
<br /> tabulated price of$2,912,751.39.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br /> Minnesota:
<br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
<br /> contract with T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. for $2,912,751.39 in the name of the City of
