Introductions <br />2.Public Comment Invited <br />3.Approval of Minutes of the April 3,2018Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of April 3, 2018.Please be prepared to <br />approve/amend. <br />Requested Commission Action:Approve/amend meetingminutesof April 3, 2018 <br />4.Legislative Priorities Discussion <br />A few months ago it was mentioned at your meeting that the City Council is <br />interested in pursuing capital funding for the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL <br />(OVAL)through the State of Minnesota Bonding Bill. In your packet in more detail is <br />a list of legislative priorities approved by the Cityincluding the OVAL. Staff will <br />provide an overview of past efforts to begin the discussion. <br />Requested Commission Action:Review and Discuss <br />5.Older Adult Hockey Program Video Showing <br />Commission member Luke Heikkilais a producer for TPT Twin Cities PBStelevision <br />station. He produced an interesting story about the senior hockey program at the <br />Roseville Skating Center. We will plan to show the video at the meeting. He did a <br />fantastic job. Thanks Luke. <br />Requested Commission Action:View video <br />6.Ongoing Topics <br />a.Cedarholm Community Building Replacement Update <br />The construction of the Cedarholm Community Building continues at a <br />pace that is on schedule with a completion date of June 15, 2018. <br />It was decided at your last meeting to tour the facility as partof your May <br />meeting so it is on your schedule for tonight. Staff looks forward to <br />showing you progress to date. <br />This topic is a regular agenda item each monthfor staff to provide the <br />latest informationin order to keep the Commission updated, gather advice <br />andallow for continued community input. <br />Requested Commission Action:Review, update, provide feedback. <br />2 <br /> <br />
