Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br /> Commission <br /> Agenda Item <br /> DATE: May 16, 2018 ITEM: 7c <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Update from various events and meetings <br /> Background <br /> The Commission was invited to attend various events and meetings over the past month or so. <br /> This is an opportunity to hear updates from those meetings. <br /> • The Commission provided a financial donation as well as volunteer hours for the <br /> Roseville Area High School One World Multicultural Festival. This event took place on <br /> March 29, 2018. The Commission had a table at the event with promotional materials. <br /> Attached is a thank you letter from the coordinator of the event. <br /> • The Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission, along with the City of <br /> Roseville, sponsored a Naturalization Ceremony that took place on May 14 at the <br /> Roseville Oval. <br /> • The City held a meeting to discuss transportation issues in Southeast Roseville in light of <br /> a new bus circulator option that had begun. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Receive an update from the various events. <br /> Attachments <br /> Thank you letter <br />
