Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br /> Commission <br /> Agenda Item <br /> DATE: May 16, 2018 ITEM: 7d <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Appoint Member to Ethics Commission <br /> Background <br /> The Ethics Commission includes a representative from each of the standing commissions. The <br /> duties and functions of the Ethics Commission are: <br /> • Serve in an advisory capacity to the city council on matters involving the .et I..u.c:.s.... <br /> .c.ode..adopted by the city council. <br /> • Administer the ethics code adopted by the city council. <br /> • Conduct annual ethics training for city council and commission members ( .Q.'.16.... <br /> • Perform other duties and functions or conduct studies as specifically directed or <br /> delegated by the city council. <br /> The Ethics Commission is required to meet annually per Chapter 207.1 of the Uniform <br /> Commission Code. The 2018 Ethics Training for city council and commissions was held on April <br /> 11, 2018. <br /> At the October, 2017 commission meeting, Commissioner Reyerson was appointed to serve on <br /> the Ethics Commission representing the HRIEC. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Appoint a member to serve on the Ethics Commission. <br /> Attachments <br /> None. <br />
