Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br /> Commission <br /> Agenda Item <br /> DATE: March 21, 2018 ITEM: 7f <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Elect Chair/Vice Chair and other Appointments <br /> Background <br /> Chapter 201.06 of the Roseville City Code states: <br /> A. Election of Officers: At the last meeting preceding the end of regular terms of <br /> appointment, or at such other time as required by State Statutes, each advisory <br /> commission shall elect a chair and vice-chair from among its appointed members for a <br /> term of one-year and appoint a member to serve on the Ethics Commission as described <br /> in Chapter 207 of this code. <br /> As the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission was recently formed in 2017, a <br /> chair was not elected until October, 2017. At the October meeting, the following <br /> commissioners were appointed to serve: <br /> Chair—Chelsea Holub <br /> Vice Chair— Nicole Dailey <br /> The Ethics Commission includes a representative from each of the standing commissions. The <br /> duties and functions of the Ethics Commission are: <br /> • Serve in an advisory capacity to the city council on matters involving the .et I..u.c:.s.... <br /> .c.o.c.e.adopted by the city council. <br /> • Administer the ethics code adopted by the city council. <br /> • Conduct annual ethics training for city council and commission members ( .Q.'.16.... <br /> . .. .u..c::.......1...IC: ,ii. ..u..:...
