EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 7t'day of May 2018, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten; and Roe and the following were absent: none. Councilmember Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11510 RESOLUTION APPROVING MNDOT MASTER UTILITY AGREEMENT WHEREAS,the Minnesota Department of Transportation(MnDOT) will enter into a design-build contract(DB Contract) with a Contractor to design and construct State Project Number 6284-180 on Trunk Highway Number 35W (Project). The Project is located from County Road B2 in Roseville to 0.1 mile north of Sunset Avenue(Anoka CR 53) Lino Lakes. The Project includes concrete and bituminous overlay,bridge replacements, noisewalls and construction of MnPASS and auxiliary lanes; and WHEREAS,The City of Roseville owns and operates water main, its fixtures, and related equipment (Facilities) inside the limits of the Project. The Project may cause changes to the Facilities. These changes may include relocation work,protection in place,removal, replacement,reinstallation, and/or modification of the Facilities; and WHEREAS,MnDOT will reimburse the Utility Owner for the costs of relocation work that is necessitated by the Project and located in interstate Right of Way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City of Roseville is authorized to enter into the Master Utility Agreement(MUA), MnDOT Agreement Number 1030913, applicable to the State Project Number 6284-180 on Trunk Highway Number 35W,with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes: To cooperate with the Contractor to coordinate all utility relocation issues for State Project Number 6284-180 on Trunk Highway Number 35W. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Manager are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
