Organizational Structure and Planning <br />The City of Roseville hasseven citizen advisory commissions and one board that <br />review specific areas of interest and provide advice to the city council. <br />The Parks and Recreation commission is one of them. What follows in this section is for the Parks andRecreation <br />Program, but may be applicable to other commissions. <br />These are not detailed descriptions. To find out more on each topic ask staff, <br />fellow commissioners or follow the links provided. <br />Roseville City Comprehensive Plan <br />What is it? <br />The city’scomprehensive plan is a tool for guiding the growth, redevelopment, <br />and overall improvement of theCityof Roseville. The Roseville <br />Comprehensive Plan for 2030 was adopted in 2009. Itis not only a land-use <br />plan, but also develops a broader framework to help shape the character of <br />the community and enhance the quality of life in Roseville.
