EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />1Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />2of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11th day of January, <br />32016, at 6:00 p.m. <br />4 <br />5The following members were present: ; and the following were absent: . <br />6 <br />7Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />8 <br />RESOLUTION No. <br />9 <br />10 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A <br />11 <br />LIMITED USE PERMIT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF <br />12 <br />TRANSPORTATION FOR A SIDEWALK IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF TRUNK <br />13 <br />HIGHWAY 36 AT LEXINGTON AVE <br />14 <br />15 <br />16WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is a political subdivision, organized and existing under <br />17the laws of the State of Minnesota; and, <br />18 <br />19WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is reconstructing the bridge(s) <br />20and interchange at Trunk Highway (TH) 36 and County State Aid Highway 51 <br />21(Lexington Ave); and, <br />22 <br />23WHEREAS, as a part of said project and at the request of the City of Roseville, the <br />24Minnesota Department of Transportation will construct a sidewalk in the right-of-way of <br />25Trunk Highway 36 which will be maintained and operated by the City of Roseville as per <br />26Cooperative Construction Agreement No. 06980; and, <br />27 <br />28WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a Limited Use Permit <br />29for the construction and utilization of said sidewalk. <br />30 <br />31NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />32hereby enters into a Limited Use Permit with the Minnesota Department of <br />33Transportation for the following purposes: <br />34 <br />351.To construct, operate and maintain a sidewalk within the right-of-way of Trunk <br />36Highway 36 of the Minnesota Department of Transportation along Lexington <br />37Ave. The City of Roseville shall operate and maintain said sidewalk in <br />38accordance with the Limited Use Permit granted by the Minnesota Department of <br />39Transportation. <br />40 <br /> <br />
