Attachment A EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 1 OF THE 2 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 3 4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 5 6 7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of 8 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11th day of January, 2016, at 6:00 9 p.m. 10 11 The following Members were present: _____________________________________ 12 and ________ were absent. 13 14 Council Member ________ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 15 RESOLUTION No. ________ 16 17 RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SUPPORT OF A JOB CREATION FUND 18 APPLICATION IN CONNECTION WITH CALYXT, INC. 19 20 21 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Calyxt, Inc., an 22 agricultural biotechnical company which is proposing to construct a facility in the City; and 23 24 WHEREAS, the City understands that Calyxt, Inc., through and with the support of the City, 25 intends to submit to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development an 26 application for an award and/or rebate from the Job Creation Fund Program; and 27 28 WHEREAS, the City held a City Council meeting on January 11, 2016, to consider this matter. 29 30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, after due consideration, the Mayor and City 31 Manager of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby express their approval of the project 32 proposed by Calyxt, Inc. and its application for an award and/or rebate from the Job Creation 33 Fund Program. 34 35 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member _______, 36 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _____________, and 37 the following voted against the same: _________. 38 39 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 40 41 42 43 44
