Trust and Agency Funds <br />Title II Fund - This fund was established to account for proceeds received under <br />the 1976 Public Works Act. Monies received under this program are based on <br />the amount of unemployment in the City and revenue sharing allotment. <br />Funds may be used for salaries, employee benefits, cost of living increases, or <br />other expenses related to the City's existing zaork force. In addition, new <br />employees may be hired if the positions are necessary to continue basic services. <br />Regulations require that the City use or encumber the funds within six months <br />of receipt. <br />VII <br />
