CIVIL DEFENSE <br />Functions <br />The Civil Defense forces of the City are responsible <br />for preparations by the City government to deal with catastrophic <br />military or natuxal disasters. This preparation entails cooperation <br />with the Federal Government in establishing and stocking public <br />shelters and training local volunteers in t]-ie various technical <br />fields necessary in an emergency operation. <br />
