Billing of water used is done b� the <br />Pinance Departmento <br />Maintenance o� the water system includes inspecting and <br />servicing of hydrants, flushing of dead end mains, checking on the <br />chemical content of the water in various locations, maintaining ground� <br />surrounding the elevated storage tank and pumping station, maintaining <br />of pump°sng equipment, and washing down of elevated storage tanko <br />Customer service work involves connecting water meters f'or <br />new customers, checking meters for accurac� and replacing them where <br />necessary and answering questions regarding municipal water serviceo <br />Meter reading is done each quarter< The City's entire <br />system is equipped with remote reading registers which expedite read� <br />ing, eliminates estimated billings, and saves the public relations <br />problems involved in entry into private homes� <br />G1:? <br />
