Depreciation <br />charges are transferred to this fund from departr�nts using such <br />equipirent. These charges are used only for the replacement of <br />eguip�nt as approved by the Council. Once this fund is properly <br />financed, it will allow for an orderly replacement of equipirent <br />and substantially reduce the fluctuating property tax require�nts <br />for equipment. <br />Program 1980 <br />Total equipirent e�enditures will decrease $43,280 £rom 1979. <br />Significant dollar itenu^ include a por.tion of a Fire I�partment <br />pur,q�er ($25,000) and a Recreation Department tractor ($10,500). <br />-93- <br />� <br />* <br />
