The City contracts with a consultant to provide planning <br />services to the City. The planning consultant provides <br />support and guidance in the review of development proposals <br />and in providing reports and presentations to the Planning <br />Commission and Council regarding subdivision, platting, rezoning <br />of property, variances to the zoning code, and special use <br />permits on property. <br />2. The planning consultant also provides special reports and/or <br />design work for special projects, including tax increment <br />financing, grant applications, and City sponsored development <br />proposals. <br />EXPENDITURE COMMENTS: <br />No siqnificant change. <br />
