The Police Department conducts background checks on those who <br />request lawful gambling licenaes. <br />� <br />3. <br />The City reviews the uses of the lawful gambling proceeds. <br />The Police Department periodically investigates lawful <br />gambling operations. <br />4. The City Finance Department conducts periodic compliance <br />audits of licensed groups. <br />Expenditure Comments: <br />The expenditure level of this program has increased due to the <br />increased costs of an expanded program for regulating the lawful <br />gambling operations. <br />84 <br />� <br />
