FISCaI+ POLICIBS <br />The following set of fiscal policies provides a framework to <br />guide the City's budget and financial planning. Each policy <br />includes a purpose section setting out the intent of the policy, <br />a Policy section laying out the policy itself, and an Implementa- <br />tion Sections provide a way to evaluate the City's progress <br />toward carrying out the policy. <br />As part of the 1990 budget process, the Council formally adopted <br />these policies. The Council's support of these policies will be <br />reinforced through readoption as part of each year's budget <br />process. <br />21 <br />
