The Sanitary Sewer Fund accounts for the operation of the sewer system with 8,931
<br />customers currently being billed. The City reviewsthe rate structure annually and
<br />as a result of these reviews, rates have been adjusted each of the last three yeazs
<br />During 1971, the ownership of the sewer interceptors was transferred to the Metro-
<br />politan Waste Control Commission. Payment for the interceptors is being made by
<br />the Commission in the form of annual credits against future sewer billings. The
<br />current value credits are being &pplied in annual installments thru 2000, but the
<br />debt service credit ends after 1981.
