Consequently, the sewer rares are in a large part determined by the M. W. C. C. charges. Sewer rates are not calculated to generate -zvenues to o=fset depreciation on the distribution system, since these assets were originaLly financed by special assessments and future replacement of these assets is pl.anned to be financed by special assessments. During 1971, the o�anership of the sewer interceptors *.�as transEerr�d to the Metropol.itan Waste Control Commission. Payment for the interceptors is being made . by the Commission in the form oi annual credits again;t future se�aer bi7.lings.
