Sewer rates are not calculated to generate -zvenues to o=fset depreciation <br />on the distribution system, since these assets were originaLly financed by special <br />assessments and future replacement of these assets is pl.anned to be financed by <br />special assessments. <br />During 1971, the o�anership of the sewer interceptors *.�as transEerr�d to the <br />Metropol.itan Waste Control Commission. Payment for the interceptors is being made . <br />by the Commission in the form oi annual credits again;t future se�aer bi7.lings.
