CITY OF ROS�VILLE, P4INNESOTA <br />NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS (CONTINUED) <br />DECEMBER 31, 1981 <br />Note 8 - Litigation <br />The City had the usual and customary types oi miscellaneous claims pending at year <br />end, mostly of a minor nature and usually a11 covered by insurance carried for that <br />purpose. <br />The City also carries personal injury insurance against suits for false arrest, <br />1ibe1, slander, violation of privacy, wrongful entry, etc., which suits can arise <br />from enforcement of the City code and general laws. There were no such suits, other <br />than the above, pending at year end which would, in the opinion of the City's Attorney's <br />office, incur�any material liability. <br />Note 9 - Commitments <br />The City leases space for one liquor store. Excess <br />insurance coverage has been parchased for claims in excess of $400,000 with a limit <br />of $5,000,000 per occurrence.
