The Storm Drainage Fund was established in 1984 and accounts for <br />the operation o£ the storm drainage system. The purpose of this <br />fund is to pay for the development of storm water management <br />plans and storm drainage improvements. The City serves and bills <br />9,276 customers for storm drainage services. Storm Sewer fixed <br />assets in the amount of 510,801,625 were transferred from the <br />General Fixed Asset Group in 1986 to re£lect the increased role <br />of this £und in improving and maintaining the Storm Drainage <br />System. The 1986 depreciation reflects the transfer of those <br />assets. Ail awards of <br />compensation, legal fees, administrative costs and the premium <br />for excess coverage are paid from this fund. The Workers' <br />Compensation Reinsurance Association provided excess coverage for <br />all claims in 1986 in excess of 5160,000 t1985 - 515�,000), with <br />no limits. <br />Trust and Agencv Fund <br />The Northwest Youth Service Bureau is a separate nonprofit <br />organization which was established under a joint powers agreement <br />between the City of Roseville and other governmental units. In <br />accordance with the terms of the agreement, the City provides <br />accounting services to the Bureau. <br />The Grass Lake Water Management Organization is a separate <br />nonprofit organization which was established under a joint powers <br />agreement between the City of Roseville and the City of <br />Shoreview. In accordance with the terms of the agreement, the <br />City provides accounting services to the Organization. <br />-13- <br />
