SPECIAL REVENIIE F[7NDS <br />Special Revenue Funds are used to account for revenues from <br />specific sources. They are usually required by statute, <br />ordinance or administrative action to finance particular <br />activities of government. <br />Recreation Fund - accounts for the revenue and expenditures <br />in the administration, maintenance and participant activities for <br />this department. <br />Federal Revenue Sharing Fund - accounts for the proper use <br />of federal revenue sharing aid. <br />Economic Development Fund - accounts for the <br />revenue and expenditures used to promote economic <br />development in the City. <br />Community Development Slock Grant Fund - accounts for the <br />revenue and expenditures associated with monies flowing through <br />the City from the County for qualified projects <br />
