Assessed valuations of $343,324,012 represented a 1.14� increase over 1987. General property taxes accounted for 36.5� of the revenues, and current tax collections were 96.46� of the total tax levy for the year 1988. This collection per cent is substan- tially in line with previous years. Intergovernmental revenues accounted for 27.9% of the revenues.
