Special Revenue Funds are used to account for revenues from <br />specific sources. They are usually required by statute, ordi- <br />nance or administrative action to finance particular activities <br />of government. <br />Recreation Fund - accounts for the revenue <br />and expenditures in the administration, <br />maintenance and participant activities for <br />this department. <br />Telecommunications Fund - accounts for the <br />proper use of cable television franchise <br />fees. <br />Economic Development Fund - accounts for the <br />revenue and expenditures useci to promote <br />economic development, inspections, and zoning <br />within the City. <br />Coᅵunity Development Slock Grant - accounts <br />for funds awarded to the City through Ramsey <br />County for qualified projects that benefit <br />low and moderate income people. <br />Charitable Gambling - accounts for funds <br />collected by the City from licensed charita- <br />ble organizations to cover the costs of <br />enforcement of City ordinances. <br />Local Development Corporation - accounts for <br />funds received from block grants and other <br />sources for the special housing needs related <br />to low and moderate income people. <br />
