<br />The Ciry is e�osed co various risks of loss related ro tores; theft of, da�nage ro, and the destruction of assets; errors and omissions; injurie:
<br />to employees; and natural disasters. During fiscai years 1980 and 1987, the Ciry established a Workers' Compensation Fund and a Risl
<br />Management Fund respecuvety (in[emal service furds) ro account for and finance its urunsured risks of loss. Under this progra�u, th�
<br />W��kers� Compensation Furd provides coverage up to a maximwn of S270,000 for each claim. The Ciry purchases excess loss coverag�
<br />from the Workers' Compensation Reinsurance Association, a nonprotit organirzdon esr�blished by Miiuiesote State Sta[utes.
