Authorize Grant Agreement for Livable Community Development <br /> Account (LCDA) Funds with the Metropolitan Council for Solar <br /> Installation and Other Improvements for the Edison Housing <br /> Development at 3110 Old Highway 8 <br /> Executive Director Trudgeon provided a brief summary of this request as <br /> detailed in the staff report and attachments dated June 18, 2018. <br /> Member McGehee asked if the agreement requires that the specified things <br /> have to happen. <br /> Executive Director Trudgeon clarified Met Council is very particular and there <br /> will not be reimbursement if these things do not happen. <br /> President Roe offered an opportunity for public comment with no one <br /> appearing to speak to this issue. <br /> Etten moved, McGehee seconded, adoption of REDA Resolution No. 24 <br /> (Attachment A) entitled, "Resolution Approving Livable Communities <br /> Demonstration Account Grant Agreement with the Metropolitan Council." <br /> Board Discussion <br /> Member Etten stated this is a great addition to the project and it will have <br /> benefits for the people who live there. <br /> Member McGehee noted she does not support the project and has not <br /> supported the project,but this is the only piece of the project she does support. <br /> Ayes: 5 <br /> Nays: 0 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 5."
