Consider Extending the City Fiber Optic Network Etten moved, McGehee seconded, approval of the County Road C2/Twin Lakes Fiber Ownership, Use, and Access Agreement(Attachment A). Council & City Manager Communications, Reports, and Announcements City Manager Trudgeon provided an overview on the agenda items in upcoming Council meetings. Councilmember Laliberte asked about the update to be given at the July 9t''Council meet- ing from the HREIC. Assistant City Manager Olson responded that several of the HRIEC members will be pre- sent. The goal is to ensure the Commission is on the right path on their various projects, given the feedback from the last joint Council-HRIEC meeting. 11. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings Councilmember Etten suggested looking at tools to allow staff to be more proactive with certain properties and react to properties consistently coming back to Council. Today's abatement is an example of that. Councilmember Etten also suggested the Council take up consideration of registration of vacant properties. Mayor Roe suggested looking at another aspect of the noise ordinance, specifically com- plaints about a particular property and some noise related to recent events. Councilmember McGehee asked whether the materials are on hand measure decibels. City Manager Trudgeon concurred City does have that equipment. McGehee moved, Etten seconded, recessing as the Council and reconvening as the Eco- nomic Development Authority at 8:46 p.m.
