The Roseville City Council is <br /> seeking applicants for two vacancies on the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br /> Commission (HRIEC). <br /> The HRIEC encourages full participation in the affairs of the City and advises the City Council <br /> on programs and efforts that could improve civic engagement and community relations, and <br /> human rights. It advises the City Council regarding the effective and meaningful involvement of <br /> Roseville residents in their local government, and proposes programs, events, and projects to <br /> increase understanding, engagement, and inclusion with the work of the City. <br /> The commission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. One vacancy is for a term <br /> that expires March 31, 2019 and one that expires in 2020. Join us July 31 and meet School Resource Officer Crystal <br /> Jones and K9 Officer Kyle Eckert and his K9 partner Ragnar. <br /> Officer Jones will talk about her role as the School Resource Officer for Roseville Area High <br /> School and the trainings and challenges that she faces to help keep Roseville's youth safe. <br /> Officer Eckert will talk about his experience at the K9 Training Academy and demonstrate a few <br /> of Ragnar's skills.
