Proclamation Updates <br /> 99 Commissioner Peterson indicated she is still researching a proclamation in the area of <br /> loo human trafficking, and she will look again at the Women's History proclamation. <br /> 101 <br /> 102 Commissioner Djevi commented he is working on Black History and Asian American <br /> 103 History months. <br /> 104 <br /> 105 Commissioner Hansel indicated she is working on the Disability proclamation and <br /> 106 has been in contact with some local groups. <br /> 107 <br /> 108 Commissioner Eichenlaub recalled his previous update, wherein it was noted that <br /> 109 Hispanic is the incorrect terminology. <br /> 110 <br /> 111 Commissioner Bolinger indicated she is waiting for a return phone call from a local <br /> 112 fair housing group as well as from a couple LGBTQ organizations. <br /> 113 <br /> 114 Assistant City Manager Olson noted there will be an update on fair housing at an <br /> 115 upcoming Council meeting. She will pass along that information once she receives it. <br /> 116 <br /> 117 Chair Holub asked about next steps, and it was decided to have a full review of half <br /> 118 the proclamations at the July meeting: <br /> 119 <br /> 120 • Hispanic heritage <br /> 121 • Disability <br /> 122 • Women's History <br /> 123 • Black History <br /> 124 • Fair Housing <br /> 125 • LBGTQ <br /> 126 • Racial Equity <br /> 127 • Native American <br /> 128 <br /> 129 d. Youth Commissioner Appointment Recommendation <br /> 130 Assistant City Manager Olson indicated the Youth Commissioners' terms are up at <br /> 131 the end of July, and both Youth Commissioners are eligible to serve again. <br /> 132 <br /> 133 Commissioner Djevi moved and Commissioner Eichenlaub seconded a motion to <br /> 134 reappoint Acer Iverson and Elizabeth Hansel as the HRIEC Youth Commissioners. <br /> 135 Motion passed unanimously. <br />
