Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br /> Commission <br /> Agenda Item <br /> DATE: September 19, 2018 ITEM: 9a. <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Engagement Efforts <br /> Register to Vote <br /> The City of Roseville encourages anyone who has not registered to vote to do so by October 16 <br /> to speed up voting during the November 6 election. <br /> Voting is much quicker if you pre-register rather than register at the polling place. Registering is <br /> easy. Complete a voter registration application online at er.-I r. -.es..,..or..g, or fill out a registration <br /> card at Roseville City Hall. Online registration options are available in English, Amharic, Chinese, <br /> Hmong, Khmer, Lao, Oromo, Russian, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese. <br /> You are registered if you've voted within the last four years; however, you must reregister if <br /> you've changed your name or address. <br /> If you have not registered by October 16, you can register at the polling place as long as you <br /> have proper identification. A list of acceptable forms of identification is available at <br /> 1.]nri, ��;tes.,._��_r or by calling 651-266-2171. <br /> Hands-only CPR Class <br /> Roseville firefighters are offering a free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class <br /> on Wednesday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m. The class meets at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 <br /> Lexington Ave. North. Firefighters will teach an easy-to-learn hands-only CPR process. <br /> Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops and can no longer pump blood to the brain or vital <br /> organs. According to the American Heart Association, only about one in 10 heart attack victims <br /> survives. By using hands-only CPR, we may be able to improve those odds. <br /> 1 <br />
