Oraanizational Structure and Planning <br /> The City of Roseville has seven citizen advisory commissions and one board that <br /> review specific areas of interest and provide advice to the city council. <br /> The Parks and Recreation commission is one of them. What follows in this section is for the Parks and Recreation <br /> Program, but may be applicable to other commissions. <br /> These are not detailed descriptions. To find out more on each topic ask staff, <br /> fellow commissioners or follow the links provided. <br /> Roseville City Comprehensive Plan <br /> • What is it? <br /> The city's comprehensive plan is a tool for guiding the growth, <br /> redevelopment, and overall improvement of the City of Roseville. The <br /> Roseville Comprehensive Plan for 2030 was adopted in 2009. It is not only a <br /> land-use plan, but also develops a broader framework to help shape the <br /> character of the community and enhance the quality of life in Roseville.
