Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> and City Attorney Mark Gaughan, Finance Commissioners Schroeder, McRoberts, <br /> Bachhuber, Harold, Hodder, Murray and Reif were also present <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 3. Approve Agenda <br /> City Manager Trudgeon requested adding Item 7D. Discussion for appointment on va- <br /> cancy for the Human Rights Inclusion, Engagement Commission(HRIEC). <br /> Laliberte moved, Etten seconded, approval of the agenda as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, McGehee and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 4. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. <br /> Jim Bull, 3061 Woodbridge Street, Roseville, commended the Community Development <br /> Department for the award the Department received last week from the St. Paul Chamber <br /> of Commerce for attracting and retaining business in Roseville. He stated the Depart- <br /> ment are leaders in local government. It is very important to the City that the business is <br /> kept, not only to the tax base but it also brings higher quality jobs to the City and raises <br /> the entire living standards for the residents. In addition, it has a trickledown effect and <br /> affects many assets of the resident's lives. He applauded the Community Development <br /> Department for doing a great job. <br /> 5. Recognitions, Donations, and Communications <br /> 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Joint Meeting with Finance Commission <br /> Finance Commission Chair Robin Schroeder briefly highlighted this item as de- <br /> tailed in the RCA and related attachments dated September 17, 2018. She stated <br /> there are four items the Commission would like to discuss with the Council. <br />
