Deer Reduction Update <br />The 2018-2019 Roseville deer reduction effort will begin over the next <br />couple of months. City staff along with the United States Department of <br />Agriculture (USDA) have evaluated multiple sites for the reduction effort. <br />Locations this year will include Reservoir Woods Park, Owasso Hills Park, <br />and Central Park at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center. In addition, the <br />city has filed our permit with the Department of Natural Resources <br />(MNDNR) and we are awaiting the 20 authorized tags. <br /> <br />Enclosed in your packet you will find a letter that will be mailed to adjacent <br />residents informing them of the upcoming reduction along with an area <br />map. In addition, each area will have notification signs posted to inform <br />residents and park users of the reduction effort activities. We anticipate <br />the USDA to begin baiting the areas in mid-November and the removals to <br />begin in early December 2018. <br />8. Other <br />9. Adjournment <br />4 <br /> <br />
