Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement <br />Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />DATE:November 14, 2018ITEM:7A. <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION:Foundational Meeting Information <br />Background <br />The Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission has added several new members in <br />recent months. The Commission felt it would be a good opportunity to review some of the <br />foundational information at this meeting in order to ensure all Commissioners are working with <br />the same knowledge base. <br />Some of the items that are included in this packet that are relevant are: <br />Uniform Commission Code Chapter 205: Human Rights, Inclusion & Engagement <br />Commission (includes Purpose, Objectives, Duties and Functions) <br />Work Plan Schedule <br />Community Engagement Project background <br />In addition, there was brief discussion at the last meeting regarding putting together an <br />orientation or on-boarding plan for new commissioners. Further discussion regarding this was <br />scheduled for the October meeting. Staff has included a sample of what the Park and <br />Recreation Commission has compiled for new commissioners. <br />Recommendation <br />None.
