Communication Items <br />42 City Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer provided a brief <br />43 review and update on projects and maintenance activities listed in the staff report <br />44 dated October 23, 2018. <br />45 <br />46 Member Joyce inquired about the Dale water project. <br />47 <br />48 Mr. Freihammer stated the County Road B and Dale sewer lining project major <br />49 equipment should be done next week. Some restoration will be done in relation to <br />50 that project. <br />51 <br />52 Civil Engineer Luke Sandstrom stated the workers are finishing up the lining of <br />53 the upper villa this week and then continue the lining up at Parkview on the west <br />54 side of Dale. <br />55 <br />56 Member Misra wondered what the time period was for the solar installation. <br />57 <br />58 Mr. Freihammer indicated he did not have the exact date, but he did know the <br />59 installers want to get the system up before peak season. He estimated it to be <br />60 March/April of 2019. <br />61 VL <br />62 Chair Cihacek thought the installation would be weather dependent. <br />63 <br />64 Chair Cihacek asked where the community solar garden is located at. <br />65 <br />66 Mr. Freihammer indicated he did not know off hand. <br />67 <br />68 Chair Cihacek asked how the salt storage and salt status coming into November. <br />69 <br />70 Mr. Freihammer stated the City ordered but was not sure if delivery has <br />71 happened. He knew there was enough salt in storage for a couple of snow storms. <br />72 <br />73 Member Misra asked how long the MNDot project on 35W is expected to take. <br />74 <br />75 Mr. Freihammer the MNPass project is scheduled to be three years long. He <br />76 indicated staff does not know the phasing because the project is in the design <br />77 mode. He thought 2019 will be the biggest impact to the Freeway because the <br />78 bridges over County Road C and Rosegate will most likely be done and replaced. <br />Page 2 of 15 <br />
