69 7) STAFF REPORT <br />70 a)Deer Reduction Update <br />71 Three reduction sites for the 2018/2019 deer reduction program have been chosen <br />72 (Reservoir Woods, Owasso Hills Park, and Central Park at Harriet Alexander Nature <br />73 Center). Baiting of these locations will be done over the next few weeks. When the <br />74 United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) feels that thereis enough activity at the <br />75 bait areas they will begin reduction efforts. <br />76 <br />77 The Commission discussed the deer reduction locations and communication updates with <br />78 ) is <br />residents. Staff confirmed that the webpage (www.cityofroseville.com/deermgmt <br />79 continuously being updated with information on the 2018/2019 deer reduction program. <br />80 <br />81 Additional Updates <br />82 Winterizing of facilities is currently underway. <br />83 Parks and Recreation staff work to continually keep the trails swept. <br />84 The Cedarholm Community Building kitchen and Golf Course is still open. <br />85 The Cedarholm Community Building has seen approximately 3-4 bookings a week. <br />th <br />86 The OVALis opening for its 25 Season on Friday, November 9. <br />87 Natural Resource Event at Valley Park on November 17 (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.). <br /> <br />88 Holiday Craft Fair at City Hall on December 1 (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and <br />89 December 2 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.). <br />90 The first annual Fall Harvest Family Fun Day will be on November 17, 2018 at the <br />91 Cedarholm Community Building (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.).
