WHEREAS, City and County staff have agreed that fair compensation to the City for <br /> future liabilities associated with the jurisdictional transfer of Roselawn Avenue would be <br /> a onetime, lump-sum payment from the County to the City; and, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br /> does hereby request that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners revoke the <br /> "County State Aid Highway" status of Roselawn Avenue (County State Aid Highway 26) <br /> from the West Right-of-way line of State Highway 280 to Fulham Avenue and transfer <br /> jurisdiction over the a portion of Roselawn Avenue,the north half of roadway between <br /> Pleasant Avenue and Fulham Avenue,to the City of Roseville, effective after the County, <br /> in receipt of an adopted resolution from Roseville requesting the County revoking the <br /> "County State Aid Highway" status of Roselawn Avenue (County State Aid Highway 26) <br /> from the West Right-of-way line of State Highway 280 to Fulham Avenue, adopts a <br /> County Board Resolution transferring said jurisdiction; and <br /> FURTHER, The Roseville City Engineer is authorized within the limits of this resolution <br /> to take actions necessary to have the identified jurisdiction changes executed. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember McGehee and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> favor thereof: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte,Etten; and Roe and the following voted against <br /> the same: none. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
