EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 7`h day of January <br /> 2019, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe and the <br /> following were absent: none. <br /> Council Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11571 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT WEED <br /> INSPECTOR <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 2, requires the mayor of each city to act <br /> as local weed inspector of the municipality; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 3, allows a municipality to appoint one <br /> or more assistants to act on behalf of the appointing authority as a weed inspector for the <br /> municipality; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA the appointment of the City of Roseville Community <br /> Development Department Building Official as Assistant Weed Inspector for the <br /> municipality. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Council Member Laliberte and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor: <br /> Willmus, Groff, Etten, Laliberte and Roe and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
