Roseville Maintenance Facility Report <br />Site Studies & Size Recommendations <br />102617.13 <br />The existing maintenance facility and yard are bound by the Roseville Fire Departmentto the east, the <br />Roseville Police Department and City Hall parking lotto the South, the Roseville Skating Center and <br />parking to the west, and by Woodhill Drive to the north. This fully developed site limits the size of the <br />yard. Expanding the existing yard would require major relocations of either parking, roads, or buildings. <br />Based on the long-term needs of the Roseville Maintenance Facility, the limitations of the existing site, <br />and the projected size of a newfacility, it is recommended that the future Roseville Maintenance Facility <br />be located on a site ranging from 10 -acres to 12 -acres. Yard storage can be improved with <br />covered bins to prevent frost build up in materials. Ittakes valuable time and money for maintenance <br />workers to break up chunks of ice that develop in exposed aggregates and landscaping materials. <br />The following site plans depict the Scheme E new building on various site sizes.
