EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 25th day of February, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus, Groff, Etten and Roe and the following member was absent: Laliberte. Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 11581 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON OLD HIGHWAY EIGHT FROM TROSETH ROAD TO COUNTY ROAD D WEST BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, Old Highway 8 between Troseth Road and County Road D West is a Municipal State Aid Highway; AND WHEREAS, such roadway is proposed to be repaved using Municipal State Aid Highway funds and the repaving of such roadway must conform to established Municipal State Aid Highway standards; AND WHEREAS, the current width and striped use of Old Highway 8 is not sufficient for on street parking on the either side of the roadway according to State Aid standards; AND WHEREAS, the west side of the road was previously designated no parking by resolution in April of 2014; AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet standards for on street parking; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that parking is hereby prohibited along both sides of the roadway of Old Highway 8 from Troseth Road to County Road D West. The motion was duly seconded by Member Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Willmus, Groff, Etten and Roe; and the following voted against: none WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
