Representatives of the Sun-Set Memorial Cemetery <br />present were: Ritchie,Ossana and Nichols. <br /> <br />. group of about So citizens attended this hearing. <br /> <br />~ <br />-"~_., <br /> <br />Os sanna, Ritchie and Nichols outlined the proposed plans to expand the Sun-Set <br />Memorial Cemetery in the Village of Roseville it a permit is obtained tram <br />the Village Council. They indicated that a strip of land between the County <br />Road C and the Northern Pacific R.R. tracks situated on the E_~__~ North-West <br />corner of Section 8,T.29.R.23 was already dedicated for cemetery purpose by <br />the Sunset Memorial Park and that they were anxious to get a permit to develop <br />about 86 acres south of the N.P. tracks tor cemetery purpose. After a long <br />discussion, someone suggested that an informal vote be taken so that the feeling <br />of the people could be expressed to the Council members as to whether or not <br />a permit should be given. Acting upon that suggestion, President MUeller put the <br />question up tor an informal vote which showed that about 90% ot the people <br />is opposed to a cemetery and 10% did not indicate their feeling in this matter. <br /> <br />President Mueller informed the representatives ot the SUnset Memorial Park <br />that the matter would be taken into consideration by the Village Council and <br />be advised later.
